Yup, it comes as multiple pieces. That way you can install a double DIN head unit, or single DIN head unit and cubby hole.
Installer.com and AudioOutfitter.com were the only two places I found that sold that particular dash kit.
Did yours come in multiple pieces?

How did you route your wires to your trunk. Becuase i would rather do this myself. les problem no money to pay... Do you have a guide or is there one on the web becuase i could not locate one?
In my Jetta I ran the wires through the dash and then under the door sills to the trunk. In the Audi S4 I have not done the install yet.
If you buy a Haynes or Bentley manual it explains how to take the interior panels apart.
Would you reccomend that i run it through the door panels. or along trhe bottom of the car right along the doors. Thanks for all of your help so far... are you sure i need a mu;tiple din dash kit. i am only installing a single din deck? the guy at circuitcity said it should be fine... so i am just wondering
If the one from circuit city is returnable, then try it out.
I would recommend running the cables underneath the door sills.
If you search this forum you can find other people that have done installs in VWs and Audis that may give you some ideas.
Ok i will try that. now i do not get my deck in for 2 weeks
would i still be able to hook up the subs and amps? or am i going to have to hook it up in a way that sacrafices sound quality?
