If so what have been your results.

Currently, no, I'm not using them. However, the next rebuild will be trying ot use them.
If you don't have a whole lot of room, and need a bigger enclosure than what you have room for, they are an excelent option.
Go for it!
Where are you getting yours from?

i have seen one person do midbass in their doors with aperiodic enclosures, and the results were pretty good. i tried it for a sub, and the results weren't so great. of course my sub's q wasn't the greatest, and apparently you need a pretty high q rating for it to sound good.
Probably just going to get them from Madisound. I really haven't found them anywhere else any cheaper. I figure $6 isn't bad. They are the scan speak version. I'm also waiting on a reply from Dynaudio on the airspace I should try to shoot for inside the kick panel itself. I talked to Scott Buwalda about it and he said just make it as large as possible and do the vent as well. I've heard about alot of people using them with Dynaudio and doing very well with it. They use to have their own that they called a variovent. The 8 calls for like a .5 cu ft minimum and I don't even want to try to make on that big. It wouldn't look good to start with and I just don't see .5 down there anywhere.
Check it out Red. Neat Program. http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/...TID=74558&PN=1
I forgot, here is another good one about an aperiodic vent. The internet is a wonderful thinghttp://forum.elitecaraudio.com/showt...threadid=12522
I've read the elite car audio thread before, good thread for anyone wanting to get more info about what we're talking about here.
WinISD has been around for a while now, used heavily in a lot of custom shops to design enclosures, great program as well.
