I'm no expert, but it certainly sounds either broken or not reassembled properly...
Hi I was playing around and experimenting with my subwoofers. I removed the magnet from the back and when I went to put it back on it will not let the speaker slide. Is there any way to fix this or is it ruined?
ummm - why would you remove the magnet?
what kind of sub is it?

Are you sure you have put it back the right way round???? If poss!
Come on Peugeot....I want to fill you with noise!
If you remove the magnet you throw off the magnetic field that the vc is suspended in. I don't thing you can just put it back on and have it pop back into place. In my experience magnets don't just come off speakers. I'm guessing you could have a shop repair it but it could be fubared.
yeah, you have to line the magnets perfect otherwise it will throw the coils off and may end up scratchin thema recone wont help a new motor and recone will, so in otherwords you need a new sub
I still want to know why ya did it!

lol, c'mon, we all know the magnet isn't a necessary component of the speaker... just leave it off
