    Illumi Control??

I'm trying to connect a 98 honda cd player to an older 96 deck. The 98 cd player has a newer 14-pin (blue) connector while the deck has an 8-pin socket (both pictured here: http://www.discountcarstereo.com/ima...honda_14_8.jpg. I cut off the 14-pin connector to "convert" it to an 8-pin by matching up the wires.

    Here's my problem.

    8-pin connector:
    BATT+
    ACC+
    BUS
    BUS GND
    L CH
    R CH
    AUDIO GND
    GND

The 14 pin connector has pretty much the same thing, except it has two extra wires, ILLUMI and ILLUMI CONTROL. What do I do with these two extra wires? Perhaps the more appropriate question would be, what is the purpose of 'illumi' and 'illumi control'? I searched the web but could not find an answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Moved to Car Audio where it belongs.

Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.
