    rca turn on

    Hey, not sure where this would go exactly... but i was thinking, if you have a stereo that puts out lets say 5v to the rca's... then couldn't you have that go through a relay, which would connect the 12v to the remote turn on on an amp...?

    esentially have your amp turn on whenever sound is applied... without having to run a remote turn on, and have it go off when the music stops...

    Actaully some amps do this already, JL slash series for example. But it more when you are using high level inputs (Speaker level), not low level (RCA)

    The problem with using you audio signal is that is an AC source and not a DC source. If it were DC it woudl be easy, otherwise you must design a special circuit.
