    FM Radio

    whats the easiest way to get FM (pref even AM but i only need FM) radio on a carputer without getting a tv tuner?

    The HQCT is the tuner i use and was specically designed for the scene, see the hardware thread and www.xtronic.be.
    P4 Celeron 2.2 - 512MB - OPUS 250 - Audigy SE - BU353 - HQCT - No Speakers though :-(

    if you are going without a HU at all, then the High Quality Car Tuner (HQCT) is the way to go. Still not perfect, but much better than any TV tuner card or usb dongle can do.

    still looking at cars. most likely a honda nissan or mazda (in australia) because of their lower cost and reliability.. unfortunately this wont be a super car. i dont intend on using a head unit because right now im looking at a slot load DVD drive and S/PDIF coaxial input AMP
