Thread: Help wiring tweeters to amp

    without a crossover you will blow the tweeters and if you dont they will sound terrible.. the xover allows it to only get HIGHS and door speakers the mids/lows....

    Normally the tweeter is not 4 Ohm, so hooking them both on the same line is fine. But you would want to do some sort of crossover or in-line capacitator to filter out low freqs.

    postwhore..... what do you think several posts above yours are stating.... BTW, there's anough tweeters that are 4Ohm....

    My tweeters are 4 ohm along with everv other aftermarket tweeter I have bought however the stock ones in my vibe I was told were 2 ohms but cant confirm that.
