    In theory yes...will you notice it? Maybe, but probably most people won't. I have never used one nor will I ever waste my money on a cap. I'd rather invest the $100-200 towards an amp with a good solid power supply because that's usually a weak point in most inexpensive amps.

    Oh yes, Big 3 upgrade all the way. That is a must even if you don't upgrade the alternator.

    what durwood said is what I believe as well.

    I still believe that caps are just a bandaid for a problem that exists else where in most systems.

    Yes, they can smooth out the current and prevent ripples....but again, if you spend the money on a good amp in the first place, they may not be needed.

    I like to keep my posts short about caps.

    If you have a decent amp, power cables, and a nice alternators you'll be set fine. caps = bandaids

    cap only stores and releases power...it does not create power...Physics man physics.

    if you honestly want more infor visit caraudio.com forums post a thread about caps....and i can guarntee you will get flammed at for even thinkin about a cap....but search before you post the thread lol

    Maybe that would be the flux capacitor? But then you would need 1.21 jigawatts (not gigawatts) to power it.
