    Clarion DXZ765MP noise problem

Hey guys I just bought a new Clarion DXZ765MP deck and am having a bizarre sub output problem. The RCA sub outs on the deck send a strange low frequency rumble to my subs. The rumble also occurs when I connect the sub RCA output to my front speaker amp -- it appears that the deck is the culprit. The volume of the noise stays the same no matter where I have my volume control on the deck. It only goes away when I completely turn the deck down to volume setting 0. Anybody else ran across this issue with Clarion?

    System:
    Clarion 765MP
    Focal seps (front)
    Focal coax (rear)
    Alpine 4ch (front/rears)
    MTX 2160 (subs)
    1pr Kicker 12"

I'd say it's in the head unit. Many HU's have a feature where they mute sound at volume 0, rather than sending a "zero" signal to the preamp. Sounds almost like a test signal to me. Check your crossover settings and stuff. Might want to look at Clarion's website for troubleshooting info.
