Hey i have a few questions im first off new to the whole car PC audio
I m well knowledged in car audio, but am looking to transfer over

After reading some reviews im most likely going with the TB Roadie USB
my questions is.. i understand i just connect this to my USB which i probably will get a PCI card dedicated for USB...

but the thing i m wondering is how do i hook my amp up to this thing?
and what voltage are the outputs???

or what would you suggest i m looking for an all around good 5.1 channel and hopefully 4V or higher... out put... i'm still debating on the amp, because i want to figure out the pc thing before i purchase a 5 channel amp...

how is sound compared to a cd headunit? i hooked up a laptop to the headunit i have and it was very poor quality... so i understand the USB cards boost the sound but i m looking for clean quality.

first question...why do you want 5.1 sound? you'll be much better off giving up on that and concentrating on a card that is meant for stereo sound. are you dead set on 5.1? and do you plan on making a dedicated center chan speaker? if not i think we could find you a much better card (sound quality wise) but if you want 5.1 then there are a few options there as well. soooo... tell us more

well sorry i want stereo sound then i was just referring the the amp i would getting... this is my first car pc.. i dont want to spend too much yet...
what card do you recommend?? then just for stereo! i m looking for clear quality... and my running a full focal interior so on my current setup they are awesome, so thats why i was debating if i should get rid of my headunit or if i can get rid of it but achieve same or bettter sound quality with high volt outputs

what's your budget? i'd suggest looking into a pro pci card like em-u (hard to beat this one), m-aduio audiophile 192 and use your amps internal x-overs. I suggest pci because it sounds like you have the available port if you were going to use it for a dedicated usb port for the audio card. i also suggest going used so you can try out some different options.

thanks. i looked into those cards, one question how would i run my sub off of those ??

so i m guessing i have to use a little connector that goes to RCA cables a y-split thing.....

how would the sound be? sorry for all these questions i m slowly grasping this new wave of technology.. :P

im looking more towards the m-audio or would u suggest the EM-U
