I just installed a pioneer amp and two 12 inch subs into my factory blaupunkt ford focus stereo 3 days ago. last night my car died 3 times and now will not start. ive talked to a couple people and they said the battery leads might be dirty and not allowing the altenator to recharge the battery.

when i did the install i installed the amp signal wire to the the audio radio ignition yellow wire with green line (A7) according to this diagram which says ignition run/accessory

however i also read on this site the accessory ignition is green wire with yellow line. which should i have hooked it on to and would that be the cause of the car dying???
