I tried to stay outta this, but here's my 2cents. I took second in my class at the Arkansas Blast (USACI sanctioned) DB Drag with 200Watts feeding that Pioneer sub. And tuned correctly, its one of the cleanest low power/low cost/shallow mount subs you're gonna find. Sure my other car has JL W7 with 1000watt JL amp, but not everyone can aford that (cost or space). Like Red always says, "Go with what sounds good to you!"
