Why are these threads starting to sound like threads you would see on caraudio.com

"I have $xx whats the best setup"

"Loads of money, what to buy"

"$ XXX in Paypal, whats the best XXX"

One reason and one reason only:

The majority of the general populous has the IQ of a chunk of granite. As this hobby gets more and more popular, we're getting more and more of the general populus. The law of averages states that with the influx of the general populous, we will get a certain amount of those rock-headed individuals, sadly.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

It's even started on digital-car now too. People who ask too much and think too little.

New system at design/prototype stage on BeagleBoard.

It's simply a by-product of the popularity of what we're doing.
As the hobby gets more media attention and draws more people, it grows.
Unfortunately, you can't expect it only to draw intelligent, logical-thinking individuals who are willing & eager to learn, either. Unfortunately, there will also be those people who aren't willing to learn, or do things too hastily or whatever.

Also of special note, when people have a ton of money to spend they don't seem to care to do their own research but instead would expect someone to do it for them.

It is fun to spend other people's money for them though.

I have noticed that MP3CAR is quite popular on google searches lately if I am searching for soemthign related to it. Even when I see an idea from here and go search for more info outside of mp3car, Mp3car is usually at the top of the list. Just something I have noticed.

    Here:

    http://store.mp3car.com/ProductDetai...Code=SDK%2D007

Amps: Audison, JL Audio, Elemental Designs, Focal, Steg, DLS
Speakers: Focal, Dynaudio, boston acoustics, jl audio
Subs: Whatever you have space for.

(Basically stick with name brand equipment)

If you want more recommendations, you should provide more info such as vehicle, where you want to palce speakers, how much power you want to run. ETC. With your generalized statement at the begining you will get responses such as you have been getting anywhere.

Also, we are not trying to send you away but there are LOTS of forums deicated to only car audio.

    Have Car Audio Specific Questions?

Most of the users here are more involved with the installation of a car PC in their rides.

One more thing, "the best" is only what best fits your needs. You could spend $4,000 just on a set speakers (Focal Be).You need to determine how many speakers you plan on using, then pick out speakers, then pick out amps to properly power them. Just some advice.
