i have a 15 inch L7 brand new and i had a power acoustik amp 1440 hooked up to it and the amp definatly blew. What amp should i buy that will get me 1000Watts RMS and feed my monster sub enough power to hit its full potential?

yes i did mean 1000 watts rms but the key is to get an amp that can produce this and keep it going beat after beat. so any suggestions now that we got that little detail figured out?

Do you have the 4 or 2 Ohm DVC version of the sub?

I have a Lincoln Navigator. The L7 is 2ohm and price rang is under 350 but the ideal price would be closer to 250 but lets see soem options

I don't know much about car audio, or even carputers for that matter. I came here to learn about it. Anyway, as far as I know, getting an amp that'll handle 1000 watts RMS could be difficult for that price range. Don't take what I say too seriously though. Hopefully someone else here will be a bit more helpful .
