Can I run this amp with this sub, how do ohms work, help/recommendations...

not that I know of.....

I'd just buy some new equipment. I't really doesn't have to cost that much. working with halfa$$ed solutions is a nono. Besides, even if you could fuse the sub, a good fuseholder easily can cost you $60. And you can easily find a nice second hand sub for that money. Same goes for the amp.

the powering the 15 with that amp is out.

I might just end up using my bazooka powered tube, i really don't need crazy bass...

we'll see... just trying to understand how it all works guys!

really, do yourself a favour and take in the advice.

I started off with a budget of $800..... I winded up buying an amp that costed that much, because I decided I might as well do it right instead of going cheap, buying some crap and in the end throwing it out because I wasn't satisfied....

it's ashame I only have 400watts to feed a sub..... I love how they look. RE audio has a similar looking sub, but it is nowhere near an SQ sub

i just aquired all the stuff that i have mentioned in this thread over 3 years, for under 50 bucks, can't beat that

true.... can't beat that money-wise.

my motto: don't buy for the sake of buying.... yeah $50 is cheap, but at the expence of quality, even if it was just a little... I really don't want to break odwn your stuff or your actions! It's just that I once had the same issue of not having any money.... So I know what it feels like. I bought a $35 sub (actually, I was lucky, cause that was a nice sub, nothing cheap) and My brother had a feamarket amp wandering around I could use..... I just felt so sad about the equipment being crap I never even got to the point of using it

Now I've already spent $4000 since and far from ready. I never planned on spending that muc, I just rolled in this hobby and once you're past the point of dreaming about those nice installs and actually get a nice install yourself, you can never go back
