Radio control with iBus ???

Is there any way to control the radio cotrol of the stock BMW stereo with an IBus controller. What about the A/C controls?

Can you, then, control any of them through Road runner (or any other front end and/or software) ?

That way you could put the stock stereo in the trunk (that way you don´t need a line driver), you just hook up an aux input to the stereo (for car pc) and still be able to use the stock radio.

There is no way to control a radio through IBus. You can send some info like RDS station name or something alike but no way to force radio to switch to the certain mode

Check this thread. These are the codes send by the light switch in an 1996 E39. Don't seem to work on an E46 however.
