i believe its 1/8"....but w/e
you need an RCA to a headphone jack adapter.
then youll need 2 y-splitters for the RCA.
that will take the 2 RCAs from the Mini and make 4.
I have the audio out on the mac mini and i have 4 RCA inputs on my AMP.
What wiring and/or adapters should I use to connect the two?
P.S. the mac mini only has a 1/4inch audio out jack and an optical out. My amp does not have optical in. THANKS!

Yes you are right, 1/8inch out of the mac mini, my mistake.
With all of these adapters do you think there will be a loss in sound quality?
Should i just get them from radio shack or is there a particular brand to get?
Anyone with the mac mini running off its stock audio, care to comment on the sound quality?
Thanks.
its all good.
sound quality on both questions.

I am using an intel mac mini for my car PC as well, also with a 4 channel amp. While I'm able to split the single mac mini line out into the amp line in, I'm wondering if anyone has had luck configuring both mac mini audio ports as line out (non-digital)? I'd like to be able to fade front to rear. Mainly, I'm interested in this on Windows, as I'll likely be using StreetDeck or Centerfuse as my front end.

impossible to fade F/R with a single line out.

Thanks for your reply, but you didn't read my post. : P I mentioned no less than twice that I'd like to USE both of the mac mini's audio ports as line out... that was the point of my question.
Any one with mac mini experience getting this to work?
You cant mix the 1/8" line out jack with the optical out.
at least, thats my understanding.
