I would do the 1000/1 you will be able to have more controll over the sub and you wont have to worry about taxing the amp. Its always better to have some overhead.

The 1000/1 IS the mate amp to your sub. The Levern to the W7's Shirley if you will . Like boom said, more control = better sound. You are playing w/ the big boys now though, that means you read everything you can before you strip a single wire. Do this right. The 1000/1 takes a little bit of understanding to set properly. Make sure you turn off your Infrasonic Filter (unless box is ported?) AND Bass EQ on the amp. Bass EQ must be off for the 3ohm SVC W7s....

Amp low pass freq. to 80.
    Slope of 24

Be careful with the input sensitivity it is very well, sensitive. What HU will be powering this? Do you know the output voltage? Tell me its at least 4...
Its not the cards you're dealt, its how you play the hand!

Look around here, there are many sound Cards to choose from. You need to find one that suits your tastes and your desires. Sound proofing is an absolute must with a W7/1000 slash combo. Retightening the bolts of your frame every so often would be a good idea too . Dynamat is too expensive. Look into a product called EDead by Elemental Designs. Its more efficient than dynamat and much, much less expensive. Available in large quantities fro little money and has very little post-install odor. Best SD I've used so far and I dont' think I've missed any...

If you go for Edead, I'd use 2 layers all around and then assess the need for more.

What are you doing your $%#& bedroom? Yes that's enough. HEHE. You'd use half that if you did the major panels of an average vehicle. Just measure the square footage of what you plan to do, make sure to double the area for that parts that will be two layer.
