I finally got my taxes back and looking to put a system into my 2003 jeep grand cherokee. My question is basically that I don't have much of a clue as to what I'm looking for in particular. I've been doing quite a bit of reading and find that JL makes great SQ subs (which is what i'm mostly into.. although spl is important as well). I have about a $1200 budget. Any ideas/input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

tc sounds tc-9 is suposed to have a great sq sub. i'm in the process of testing it for myself but it would be a good sub to check out. throw a ton of power at it and call it a day.
one very respected member over at www.diymobileaudio.com said that the tc-9 was one of the best sq subs that he tested. It's just an opinion, but it's worth checking out.
