Please include as much detail as possible in your posts. It really helps us help you.

I know it may not seem important for some questions to include all the details, but including as much information as possible only benefits you and us. If you ask a question like "why won't my amp respond?" (not aimed at anoyone) it may not seem important to include the model or the setup of your other equipment, but honestly it might help. Just take a couple minutes when you post to include the details on your setup, equipment, wiring, etc. It will make others want to help you all the more and facilitate us to offer much quicker responses. Thanks.

i'd also like to add that being a little more civil and mature in responses will also benefit the community. This isn't aimed directly at you but we are all here to help one another. Lets not jump down one another's throats (or make them feel foolish) for mistakes or incomplete posts. A simple question asking for additonal information will go a long way. Lets give the original poster the benefit of the doubt that they are not morons.

No Sdashiki, this is about a lot of posts that have been popping up lately. You did not get my opinion INSTEAD, you got my opinion AS WELL. I also tried to send you in the right direction which you seem to not be understanding. You're post had all of the necessary information for someone who happened to know exactly how to use your HU to be able to sit down and walk you through everything. I was offering you a solution to your problem that would fix it without having to wait for such a person to arrive in a car computer forum where you are not likely to find him or her. I had NO problem with you whatsoever UNTIL you responded to my post in a unappreciative way, perhaps misunderstanding what I was saying, but regardless, you still attacked me slightly when all I did was express my displeasure with the way Eclipse handles customer service. I truly hope you see that what you did was wrong and that I'm a very nice guy who would love to help you now and in the future as long as you don't take my opinion of companies or equipment and make it personal. You have to admit that you should not have taken offense to anything I said unless you are Mr. Fujitsu-Ten, otherwise, it wasn't about you.

This post is a friendly message, not intended to upset anyone, intended to HELP US HELP posters. Thats all.

I agree Scott, it would be nice for more patience on our behalf as well. I try not to get frustrated unless someone just wants to be spoon-fed or if they don't read the whole thread but respond to it. Or, if someone questions my advice for an unfounded reason. I am open to debate and I think debating is quite healthy. I'm talking about the whole "well what do you know anyway" type of thing. That ****es me off too. Other than that, I try to be helpful.

Seriously, my bad, text can be so hard to take with the writers actual intentions. Many things get lost in translation of words to text and text to my screen.

In response to this thread, yes it is a HUGE problem, and the biggest one being that those with 0 posts come here expecting it to be the all-knowing, all-dancing Car Audio forum. When its a Carputer forum, that deals with audio.

There is nothing more that I hate to read than a single phrase post, about car audio.
