    Running Amp Wires 03 Jetta

I'm looking for some instructions from some one pretty knowledgeable. I want to run wires through my 03 Jetta for a sub amp I have all the technical aspects down such as the monsoon amp and the HU. Now my only problem is, where do I run the wires with out messing up my interior. If any one has any instruction on disassembling some of the interior to get from the battery/HU to my trunk id really love you for ever!

Well luckily, I don't have specific instructions so I won't have to reject your love But I will tell you this - its not very likely you're going to get a response from someone with step by step for your exact car on here, there just aren't enough people here installing audio for those odds to be good. But, with a little guts and intuition I bet you could do it fine on your own. Ther are tons of tutorials online for installnig amps. Finding holes in the firewall, what sides to route your wires, etc. I think even crutchfield has tutorials. Good luck, any specific questions, fire way.
Its not the cards you're dealt, its how you play the hand!

    running cables

Well like previously stated there really isnt any step by step for install but will try to give some tips that help during my installs:

As far as your power goes from under hood try to find a gromet that you can either slip your cable in with another wiring bundle or most of the time there is a spare gromet or 2 you can work with. Just cut a small slit in gromet with razor blade and I usually use long screwdriver with power cable taped to it to push through gromet. Make sure to use proper gauge wire and to fuse it close to battery.

As far as running through car I take out trim panels that hold down carpet right inside doors (most pop right out with a little elbow grease but there is a select few that are screwed in) Make sure to splice into remote line to head unit and I recommend fusing that line too 1/2A is plenty. Run both remote and power down side under carpet (ise the screwdriver trick here too unless you want to muscle it through or remove the seats.

Once cables are back there find a good grounding point (ohm it out with DMM and make sure to clean area very well trying to get rid of paint and dirt.

Only other thing would be to run RCA's; make sure to run RCA's on OPPOSITE side you run power or you run risk of interference with power cables and static in lines.

Well that should be enough to get you in trouble.

Hope that helps! Remember GOOGLE is you friend also!!
