my biggest suggestion would be to break up the topics-3 20minute podcasts are better then a single 1hr one-especially if your interested in only some of the topics being discussed.
@the openMobile stuff:
* dead on with the mouse over usage for hardware devices like keyboards, powermates, etc.
* there is a "disable graphical effects mode" in settings
* the slowness was because you had software rendering openGL.... even a dual core atom crawls trying to do that.
* microsoft windows update drivers strip out openGL to try and force directX...if you download the driver from the website then it will have openGL support. A few exceptions like GMA500 is openGL 2.0 on XP and on vista+ the intel drivers are software rendered.
* in the future shoot me a pm or something so i can answer questions :p
The content of the podcast was actually quite good.
I like the fact that you covered a variety of different topics.
great job on covering a lot of different topics, though, as justchat said, maybe break it up a little, or maybe make a small list of discussion topics, and start times(in the client i am using, there is a 'show notes' section-- may this could be utilized in this?)..
Just finished it, I enjoyed it. The format is fine. Some of Trip's reactions to the BikePC segment were funny.

The mp3Car.com 7'' Sunlight Readable Touchscreen Monitor Lilliput 669GL-70NP/C/T is expensive, I agree. However, the ability to see the screen in all lighting conditions rivals monitors costing much more. Great care was taken to use the perfect combination of films to get the best possible appearance in direct sunlight. The reason we use the standard Lilliput 669 instead of the high brightness models as the base unit is because the LCD and touch panel are free from Lilliput placed films that could interfere with our unique combination of films. There is a noticeable difference between this monitor and the high brightness 669 versions from Lilliput or the standard 669. Sunlight readability is dramatically increased. This can be of added importance to you if you're looking for a monitor that's easy to see in a convertible, vehicle with a sunroof, or a standard car you drive in sunny conditions frequently. The Inelmatic XF700 monitor we offer is primarily geared toward our corporate clientele. However, it does make one amazing centerpiece for the high-end Carputer installation. When comparing this to our own sunlight readable Lilliput 669, it is brighter, has a greater viewing angle, colors appear more vivid, the case is much more rugged, operating environment, vibration, and shock specs are better, but glare is ever so slightly more. Our own modified sunlight readable Lilliput 669 is slightly more readable in all lighting conditions.
