It was suggested to me by bpwned that rather than have the volume window pop to the center of the screen, have it come up in the lower left corner.
I also thought about replacing the mute and max volume buttons on that window with volume adjustment buttons (up and down). The idea is that it is easy to make big changes with the slider, but (at least while moving) I have found it challenging to make fine adjustments that way.
What do you think about these changes? Like it? Don't like it? Have another idea?

Ok. Nobody seems to think this is a bad idea, so thy will be done
I'm working on a function for those silly people that drive on the wrong side of the road, then i'll update the volume window. Tomorrow is pretty busy for me, so hopefully i'll have a new version tomorrow night or some time Sunday.

I don't think it's a bad sign that nobody answers. After all there aren't many Macs in cars out there. And hey, maybe a good front end will raise the amount of Macs in cars
