there has to be some hardware that is the same... I have XM working 100% for most of our distros... They are hardware units that I have in house to test with and ensure that they work...

once it's seperated I plan to send it over to a developer I have lined up already to fix all the issues 100%...

@drblast - I think I get all of my channels, but I'll double-check against XtremePCR to make sure.

@midiwall - I've been waiting for XM to work fully w/o issue since February, so I hear you. The issue this thread relates to started a couple months ago and added to the fun.

@David - can you give us some sort of estimated wait time for a working XM module? I've been reading what you "plan to" do and what you have "lined-up" regarding XM for over 3 months now. I'm not trying to sound rude here, but come on. Now I have paid for the software... if you thought I was annoying about my XM whining before, I'm a paying customer of Flux Media now...

In the older versions of CF I didn't get all the channels. I cannot remember which update it was fixed. If you update to the current, you should have all the channels HOWEVER not all the channel icons are there. There are a few new channels that are not up to date or missing..

Example - channel 202 isn't High Voltage - It was changed last year to The Virus....

Post the channels on here that you are missing we can compare to ours... We could be missing some and not know it without verifying against XM's list...

I am having this problem as well. Station icons show up but no text. Works in all other frontends. There must be some similarity in all of our setups. The only thing I can figure is how I have XM connected. I am using the Hybrid cable and am having other issues in other frontends that the text works for a few minutes and then becomes illegible. Think it is the same thing as in Centrafuse.

I have read in other posts that this is generally a cable issue and am thinking of buying the USB connector for XM off of MP3CAR. Are any of you who are having this problem also using the Hybrid - serial to USB cable?

I use a regular usb a to b connector to the computer and a usb to serial software converter.

maybe that is all the issues... I made my own cable with cutting a simple PS/2 and wiring it to a 9 pin serial connector and adding 12V...

no drivers needed or every used, never used XM any other way...

maybe these adapters are causing different issues and that is why I cannot reproduce them...

I was talking about the XMDirect...

So you have the same issue with your XMPCR?

I am still going to pull the XM out of the main applicaiton, make it a plugin, and already have a developer lined up to make this thing finally 100%...
