    What exactly is PRESCAN?

    I read the post where David explained the PRESCAN option, but there is nothing in the manual about it and I want more info. If I turn it on, is that the same as gapless playback? Do I still need to turn on crossfading to get that sort of effect?

    prescan is just used if you have issues with crossfading not working...

    it is when I can't read the length of the file in the headers, so I get it from prescanning...
