    CF and two audio device

I’m trying to configure my system as following:
    - 1st audio device for front screen and main speakers (radio, navigation and MP3)
    - 2nd audio device for the rear screens and headphones – for video (DIVX and DVD)

I have found that in CF you cannot select the audio device output for video and it’s always use the windows default device. That’s OK for me BUT…..
The problem is that the CF volume control managing only the windows default device and not the one that selected in the setup screen.
So by configuring the windows default audio device to the one that connected to the rear screens (headphones) and in the CF selecting the other audio device (main speakers), I getting to situation that I CAN NOT controlling the volume for the main speakers from the CF.

    Any ideas?

It would be great if you could make it so that each function (video, nav, media) can have an audio-device you can choose. Just like the screens.

Even better would be that you could run 2 instances of some functions (media for example)... Maybe I'm dreaming

Quick offtopic question, can I have two audio devices, the turtlebeach roadie and imic, output on one and input on the other.

I'm trying to get sirius working on the roadie but I don't want to use it for output because I get crackles and alternator whine which I don't get with the imic. I thought I had the settings in windows/CF set correct but the audio from sirius didn't come through when I tried to play it.

Just wanted to verify that this was possible before trying to troubleshoot it.

In additional for my top post,

When you running video and then change to radio the video stops.
In the configuration that one audio device used for video with the rear monitors and the other audio device used for radio/mp3, can you support continue running video while listening to radio/mp3.

you can change the recording device in settings, this should allow you to get audio from one sound device and play it on another...

I can look into the video still playing when I get a chance...
