there is a file that needs to be placed in the Centrafuse root folder which due to licensing we cannot currently package and include...

    bass_aac.dll

you should be able to find it and place in the folder to get AAC playback, it will allow playback of non protected AAC files...

I added bass_aac.dll and i still cant get it to play MP4 files. They play fine in WMP just not in CF.

I tried adding it too, but it was a no-go for me. I just ended up converting them to FLAC.

Worked for me I put it in C:\Program Files\Flux Media\Centrafuse\

I attached the file I used if it helps.

You need to extract it first.

Nevermind, I was actually trying to play m4a files, not mp4.

with the AAC file it will play m4a files, but not m4p files... It will not play the protected format...

Hmmm...that's strange. I have 2 albums that are m4a (Apple Lossless) and I couldn't get them to play even with the bass_acc.dll file in the Centrafuse directory. I'll try again though with the attached file above and see how it goes.

Has anyone got a link to bass_aac.dll V2.4?
    2.3 doesn't seem to work with RC3.
