Centrafuse 1.47 Update
i think im going to wear out this bookmark....
If they dont hurry up.... ill have to wait some more!
It isnt really yours until you take it apart and put it back together.
We have received some of the remaining updates from the 3rd party bluetooth stack vendor, and are awaiting the last few fixes. These are supposed to be completed over the next few days, and hopefully we have this next CF release out very soon. Apologies for the delays to all, I know everyone has been waiting for a long time, trust me, we are very excited to get this out there to you, we just want to have everything fully implemented and tested before we rush it out there.
david,
any update/good news regarding the echo problem that we have with the current version?
Shay
I dont own SD, but do own Phonecontrol. The issue is the mic - settings ie 0 volume on mic line in listening mode, the type of mic you have installed and if there is a mute switch.
There should be no echo with Phonecontrol if those things are done properly.

You are right. The problem that I had was with SD.
With the CF I never successes to operate the phone software.
Echo Cancellation is performed by an advanced algorithm which reads both the mic signal and the current wav signal, processes them, and provides a clean mic signal, free from what it heard over the speakers. This is stack independent, and has nothing to do with bluetooth. We currently are investigating ECNR software, and plan to implement it in the future. For now though, any bluetoth solution you'll use out there over a pc, will have the echo. Unless you can manually turn on ECNR in your sound card driver, which we have seen before, when the driver is capable of using Microsoft ECNR. I have not seen any Windows bluetooth stack front ends that utilize the Microsoft ECNR, which I guess is possible bu no one has done it.
