I just gave it another shot:
*) Disabled onboard soundcard in BIOS
    *) Downgraded driver

Neither of which worked. It's pretty awful - changing songs in one playlist causes the problem aswell 2/3 times.

I noticed that the music seems to play either too slow or too fast when it's scrambled.

So - now I have Centrafuse that can't play music, navigate or talk in the phone... :-(

Alright, so now I've been testing it some more.

It appears that the problem is not just in Centrafuse but also in atleast Winamp.

Any help appreciated - I've run out of ideas.

    The problem was already solved.

I figured that I had to connect the soundcard directly to the motherboard rather than through an USB hub.
