    good point, I will look into it...

    I reset the ports thinking that if you switch POP/IMAP, then they should start at the defaults for each protocol...

    I think moving ahead in the list is a good idea...

    My GMail just hangs on "Receiving 1/7002". It looks like its connecting, but it won't receive the messages. Anyone else having this problem? Sending emails work fine.

    Are you set for IMAP or POP3? How many emails are actually in the inbox?

    I had the exact same problem.
    I bet you forgot to do this step:

    1. enable IMAP in your gmail account. It's under 'settings'.

    This solves it.

    I had IMAP set. It started counting down my email after awhile and I just waited for a LONG LONG LONG time. After about six hours, my email popped up! I guess it had to read all 7000+ emails and finally know that was at the end.

    Yeah, IMAP isn't the best at dealing with situations like that...

    Now wait until you see the fun of having to delete all that mail from CF.

    it will auto delete... you can set the days to keep shorter in Settings\Email to have it auto delete faster and keep less email...

    I don't think it downloaded all 7000+ messages, but it had to read through them all; at least that's what it seemed.
