Can send, but can't recieve email (gmail)

I'm having an issue with the email functionality right now.

I can successfully SEND email but I can't RECEIVE.

I have it set to check every 120 minutes so maybe that has something to do with it? Perhaps I haven't give it enough time to download? I would assume it would download automatically once it's set-up, is this not the case?

Should I just wait the 120 minutes (or just change the time frame upfront once then change it back)?

Did you enable IMAP in your gmail account. It's under 'settings'.

Yes, I'm able to download to my Outlook 2007 on my lappy.

Any resolution here? I'm in the same boat. I have changed all of my settings and ports to match the FAQ.

I'm able to do this just fine now. Not sure what I changed or what I did different, but it works. I guess it started working with a new install at some point.
