centrafuse.exe -advsettings
I'm new to CF and just installed 2.0 RC2 as a fresh install on my Infill G4.
I'm having a lot of problems with it, such as:
- Time display constantly fluctuates on FLAC songs (looks worse when it is set to show remaining time). Works fine in WMP and Winamp.
- My Bluetooth phone paired and shows as the default BT device, but I can't get any communication between my phone and CF (can't get phonebook or make calls, etc...).
- Can't put it into sleep from the exit menu. When I try it just gets into a bad state (I can click on buttons but nothing really happens... once after about 5 minutes the exit menu closed but I think I still had to End Task on CF).
- No screen tilt (or is there a different method than with SD, where you press at the top/bottom of the screen?).
But my biggest problem is that after going through the initial setup, I only have a small subset of the available options when I go into Settings. I have each of the Settings categories, but each category is missing things. For instance, I chose the wrong Radio sound card settings first, but now the Radio options are limited to the AM/FM "enhanced" options and I think one other option. I'd say over 50% of the individual options are missing. Putting it into "the advanced options" mode by holding down the + button does NOT help.
Does anyone have any ideas on this Settings issue?
centrafuse.exe -advsettings
Have you looked under "Graphics".
ISTR David writing something about that in the release notes.
the -advsettings will enable advanced settings always, but holding down "+" for 6 seconds will enter advanced settings while running...
we have moved more settings from advanced into basic in RC3, but the idea is many settings you only set once and you don't want any to easily be able to change them that get into your car such as device settings, COM port settings, etc...
the Tilt issue has been fixed and will be in RC3 coming soon...

Strange... today I get the missing options when I hold the + button down (and also with -advsettings, though I hadn't tried that earlier).
I still can't get the Radio to work though. Since I have an Infill G4, I choose "None" for the input/output sound card options, and Infill as the main device. But I get no audio from the radio. I'm using a USB soundcard (Turtle Beach Audio Advantage) instead of the onboard soundcard (argh!!! if only Infill had used pre-out cables.. that alone has cost me hundreds of dollars and many hours of wasted time), and I know the Streetdeck guys had some trouble getting that configuration working.
Thanks.
I can not get CentraFuse to work that good at all with my Infill G4. For instance, I can not get sound from my Sirius to my Turtle Beach card...the radio displays come up and it says who is playing on the station, but not sound for the life of me.And when I try to play an mp3 under Music, it just never comes up, I have to CNTR-ALT-DEL out of Centrafuse. Are you using Sirius John? Frustrating....
Nope, just the stock Infill G4 radio tuner.
Do you have your correct line devices set in satradio settings? This should not be an issue as it has not been reported at all by anyone else. Regarding the medianot playing makes me think there's something else going on with your system. Please enable all "Log Events" options in phone settings, satradio settings, and general settings, then after reproducing this issue, go into advanced settings and create a system report, then post that generated .flux file so that we can have a look at what's going on...
