HD Radio Support

I want to say, HD Radio support gets a PASSING GRADE by me
in RC2

there are a couple of minor issues, and it looks like
CF Dev Team, is right on them...
from the contact I'm having with David, nothing but positives to say

if people here arnt sure what HD Radio we're talking about

its the Visteron HDZ300, with my Interface cable!
just do ebay search on "HD Radio" and nab a cheap tuner < $50, then hit me up for cable

soooo CHEAP

and it BLOWS AWAY ALL OTHER CARPC SOLUTIONS!

and HD RADIO FM SQ is CD LIKE!!!
BLOWS AWAY ALL SAT RADIO!!

i dont knwo why i am having trouble but i cant get mine to work at all. i have tried the serial port built on the computer, dosnt work works fine with supplied software. then i tried a usb to serial cable and still same results. i hear it click liek its turnign it on but still NOTHING!!!! cant tunes any channels.. what am i doing wrong. and yes i have set the setting to hd radio.

1st try HDRadio PCR (my application)
make sure all is good with the tuner and control

Have you noticed that the volume output from the Directed HDRadio (same as Visteon) is VERY low when controlled by RC2?

I can then reboot the Directed HDRadio using the normal controller and the sound level is where it should be.

Forgot to say that your HDRadio PCR application works flawlessly on the same system and puts out the right volume.

The Visteon HDZ300 and Mitch's HD cable really go hand in hand, very nice combo there.

i didnt notice voume, because i got my tuner connected direcly to speakers
maybe they forgot to SET the volume!!!

There is a config file you can edit to increase the volume for HDRadio...

"C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Centrafuse\RadioModules\HDRado\HDRadio.xml"

here you can increase the volume, hard code the COM port, and a few other things...
