Actually, you are right it should. When the phone disconnects, CF should start polling for a connection again (indicated by a flashing headset icon), does it do this? RC4 may also fix this as I have done some stuff with the headset icon code. Clicking it will give some functionality now, to connect if disconnected, disconnect if connected, stop polling if polling, etc...
Please reproduce and then build system log in settings and post...
I dont believe it does. I waited several minutes, and it never reconnected. Also, once I turned on the BT headset and accepted the call from it, the music unpaused and kept playing. Itd almost make more sense to leave the music paused if CF looses the connection when its recieving a phone call?
I have installed CF 2.0 RC3. I thought it was running like a dream until I allowed it to hibernate. When I come back and start the car, the PC starts up then shows a black screen with the mouse cursor in the middle. I have to hard restart to get into Windows properly. Same thing with setting CF to shell. I am not sure if it has to do with the HD Radio and XM, but when I do finally restart, the HD and XM do not work. I have to sit there and assign new com ports then restart again, and everything is fine. Has anyone had any of these issues? Also what is the recommended com ports for the HD Radio and XM..... Right now I have XM at com port 20 to avoid any other device conflict, which seems to have worked. On the HD Radio there is no box to change the Com Port.... is that when I go to the HDRadio/HDRadio.xml in the CF area?
PS: Went into documents and setting/user/ what not.... changed the port in the hdradio.xml and now XM and HD radio work perfectly. I am still having the blackscreen when coming out of hibernation, what could be causing it? Its very annoying to have to restart after coming out of hibernation.

After reproducing issue and restarting your pc, collect these logs, and post them up:
[localappdata]/centrafuse/error.log
[localappdata]/centrafuse/centrafuse.log
[localappdata]/centrafuse/bluetooth/error.log
[localappdata]/centrafuse/bluetooth/bluetooth.log
Ok, i will go head and do that. I will point out another issue also.....
When having XM and HD radio the buffer does not work currectly on XM. I have to use buffer on both because it seems to lower the sound on HD if I turn off its buffer and XM if I turn off its buffer also, even with the line in turned all the way up. The HD radio buffer seems to work fine, but if I switch to XM (with buffer on for XM), then switch back to HD radio, I hear HD radio and XM, its like the XM doesnt power down or mute.

in windows mixer check to see if the playback line that xm is plugged in to is unmuted. Sounds like that is what is happening. Could have been a settings issue when you were turning buffer on/off, or issue could be somewhere else, re-test this and let me know if its still happening, and that indeed the switch from xm to radio is un-muting that playback line.
that we cannot do, a disconnection from the phone does not warrant pausing the music, this would create all kinds of other issues in other scenarios... but, in rc4 there should be fixed code that will begin trying to reconnect to the phone as soon as it loses connection..
