Also if this is possible where can I get a list of variables and commands for CF?
In RR I am able to pull label data and variables from RR and use it in autoit. How this is done is I use this line of code which allows me to get data from RR:
Then I am able to get any info from RR using this codePHP Code:
$AUTOITVARIABLE = ObjCreate("RoadRunner.SDK")
Is it possible to use this same method in CF.PHP Code:
$AUTOITVARIABLE2 = $RR.GetInfo("=$RRVARIABLEORLABELCODE$")
If the above is possible am I able to send data back to CF as a custom variable.
RR has a command called setvar that lets me set a custom variable like this:
So then I could display CUSTOMVARIABLE as a label code and it would display the text HELLO WORLD.PHP Code:
The code I would use in AUTOIT would go something like this.
MAYBE this sounds like a noob question to a lot of you but I am a noob and cant seem to find any info relating to this and I am just trying to figure this CF thing out for the first time.
Any similar methods or ideas are welcom..
Thanks in advance
What are you planning on doing TS?
I don't think CF has those things as standard. What may have to be done is a plugin that pulls some onfo out of CF and makes it available to other programs.
Even so I don't think there will be as much info available as you are used to in RR
OK, thanks.. that confirms what I thought.
I am just trying to figure out CF and what it is capable of.
I would like to make a plugin but realized I have a lot to learn as far as programming goes before I can feel comfortable with doing so.
I havent been able to find any good examples of code used for pluggins in CF. I downloaded the SDK but it is not as self explanitory as I would need.
The plugginn you mentioned above would be awsome. That is actually what I wanted to do in the first place. I just dont know where to start?
Actually the two examples (hello world, simple list) that come with the SDK are very useful, once you get in there and change things, break them, and then start all over again.
There are somethings you have to find out for yourself though and I am still finding new things, some of it is to to with CF other times it is with VB.net or .net in general.
