Any noticeable improvements in hibernation time running W7?

Have tried both 32 and 64 bit version on my desktop (Quad Intel OC to 3.62Ghz and 2GB of 1200Mhz RAM 2X80GB RAID Stripe) and boot times are about the same as Vista, give or take...
I'm sure there's still some optimization coming from MS on this regard...

My XP/SP3/nLite carputer boots up amazingly fast though Under 1 minute.

Yea, so does mine, even with all the devices I have. I think its at about 55 seconds from cold boot and 20 seconds or less from hibernation. With no devices it was hella fast, 20 seconds from cold boot and about 5-7 seconds from hibernation.

I have win7 installed on a D201GLY2 and it's pretty reasonable (with 1gb ram). 64 bit was impossible (drivers weren't available) but 32 bit seams to work pretty well. Haven't tried CF yet though.

I have CF installed on a Dell sx270 with a P4 2.8ghz CPU with 750MB ram. CF seems to load pretty slowly initially and somethings lag quite a bit. Boot time is reasonable from post to windows start but truly I think XP is better right out of the box as far as speed goes.
I do like W7 a lot though this is definitely a promising OS. I am a huge XP fan so moving on to a new OS will be hard but W7 will probably be worth it.
I noticed CF might have some compatiblility issues with Text to speech and Speech Recognition sicne W7's system is quite a bit different from XP.

Probably because there isn't one. You can't buy a license for a product that hasn't even been released yet.

I'm not really sure what stilv is talking about.
