My Centrafuse gets an error message :S

Hi. I tested CF on my computer yesterday and was extremely happy about how it worked, so today I installed it on my carputer, but CF keeps getting error messages when operating the music. Its a windows message sayng that CF has a problem and have to be closed. The message seems to pop up at random as long as I am fixing my music. I've tryed transfering all my songs to a different partition, but the problem is still there. Whats wrong?

The carputer is a Socket 754 AMD Sempron 2800+ with 1GB DDR-DIMM RAM, 128mb integrated VGA and 20GB IDE HD. I run Winxp on it.

Mine is doing the same thing. I get a message saying something like Centrafuse has reached an end user breakpoint. I am going to try reinstall centrafuse when I get off work today and see if that helps at all b/c mine was playing my music fine until I got the HD Radio working.

Well actually I didn't have to reinstall it. I was having issues with my onboard sound card and my PCI sound card battling each other apparently. I disabled the onboard sound card in BIOS and set my sound blaster card as the default and the problem went away.

Exactly what does the message that you get say? I was getting another message saying centrafuse cannot play AAC files for a while then I read on forums.fluxmedia.net that their is a .dll file that you have to download and put in your/centrafuse folder. I downloaded that and that message went away. So if you are getting that message when you try to play your mp3's then just check out this faq and follow the directions to download:

"Centrafuse has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." "If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost".

It doesnt say much I can see that this only happens if I try to enter my music. We are talking about 1600 songs and I know there are some songs that are spyware and some that is corrupt. The same songs worked perfectly on my other computer though, so I cant see why this would be the problem, but I'll try to filter out some of the bad files :P

I give up. I tryed to make a new music folder, copying some songs at the time and tested if the folder worked on CF, I found one song that messed it up (strangely enough it was nothing special about this song, regular mp3). I removed this song along with all the files that were under 1mb of size. I thought this fixed the problem, everything worked fine so I started to go through the songs creating a playlist. After 10 min of work and reaching S the error message appeared :S I could continue go through the files, copying bits and bits, but if I have to use 10 min to make a playlist everytime just to check if everything is ok I cant say that it makes it worth my while :P I really need help

Well mine worked on my carputer for a few days then all of a sudden got that message. I downloaded that .dll file the FAQ talks about and haven't had an error since. If you haven't done that yet, I suggest going ahead and putting that file in the centrafuse folder. That way if it does fix it, perfect, if not then you won't have to worry when you come up on an ACC file type.

I fixed this problem by updating Windows Media player. I was experiencing the problem with wmp9. I updated and tried my hardest to get the error to come up, but it looks like its fixed.
