    Question Camera App Keeps Disappearing

After a few reboots my cam app disappears from my home screen and this is all I see is this. I've reinstalled it and it happened again. Any suggestions?

Well that 'aint right. I suggest you delete it from your Market [if you're able] than go into your program files/centrafuse/Centrafuse Auto folder/plugins and manually delete the cam app. Reboot and download it again from the market. Let me know if this helps, thanks man.

That's exactly what I did, although it didnt let me delete it from within centrafuse. It mysteriously reappeared after a reboot though...

Can you delete that one from your home screen and put another one back in via the long-press home screen button action?

Almost the samething, maybe someone could help me as well?

When I have my web cam plugged in and I turn it on with cf the camera nothing happens. If i close cf and try and open the camera with logitech's software nothing happens either. Now if i unplug the usb and plug it in, the camera opens with both cf and or logitech's software. Has this every happen to anyone else?

I have uninstalled the software more then three times and that isn't the problem. Now here is even more crazier twist to add, if i install the camera and software on my desktop it works fine all the time.

What is this about? I have the intel atom board 1.6ghz, with 2gigs of memory, ssd drive fresh install of windows 7 with the new version of cf and all the updates.

I don't really need the camera, but it would be really cool to have it working. Just thought I would see if anyone had a quick fix for this.

    Thanks friends.

    Phil

Can you have it running without any of the logitech software and only use the drivers? It doesn't sound like a CF problem as much as it's with the system having a hard time understanding the drivers or whats going on w the USB. Does this happen after returning from hibernation or on a cold-reboot?

I have a tC too, woo!

I can't run it in or outside of cf, and if i don't install drivers and just let windows default on it still nothing. but if i pull the usb out of the port and place it in another port while the pc is on, then the pic is there. however if i reboot i lose the cam all over again and will not work unless i unplug the usb and put into another port.

strange cus when i plugged it into my desktop and laptop both kept it running all the time. no matter how many times i reboot no matter if i had the drivers from logitech installed or used windows default.

could their be an issue with my intel board? i don't think so cus all my other usb devices seem to be working fine all the time.

I am just puzzled or an not sure if this matters but when it does come on and work viewing it through cf is very blury and blochy, but if i was to view it though either windows or logitech's software it is crystal clear.

Maybe i can make a video click with my phone and show you what i am seeing and maybe that will help you to help me with my problem? Can i upload video to mp3car?

Ok well thank you for your help so far.

Yeah it sounds like just one of those weird specific cases. I'd suggest clearing out all the drivers everywhere for the camera, and starting from scratch. Maybe check the logitech forums since that's the problem. Your hardware is fine I think.
