Auto-Tethering to iPhone when loading CF

Let me start off by saying that I just migrated from RR to CF and I can't believe I didn't do it sooner. Just installed CF4 w/ nav this morning and I love that it auto connects to my phone and Bluesoleil will grab the contacts. It works great!

That being said, I prefer to use bluetooth tethering (jailbroken running MYWI) instead of running an iphone USB cable to do it, and I am wondering if there is a way to have CF automatically initiate the tether (connection to PAN in bluesoleil). I can create a shortcut to launch the connection and drop it in my startup folder, but I prefer to have CF do it once the bluetooth drivers are fully initalized because sometimes the connection will launch before bluesoleil is up and running and the connection fails.

Worst case scenario, I will just run a cable and plug the phone in for a usb tether.

    Thanks.

I first started with CF then to RR and now back to CF If you can find a way to autoconnect that would be amazing i cant seem to find a way. I currently just plugin in usb.
What short cut are you putting into your start up folder?
    Thanks

Unfortunately, CF doesn't support the BT PAN profile with BlueSoliel. For that matter, I haven't seen a whole lot of success stories about using an iPhone with BlueSoliel and Centrafuse period. Not too many happy folks. One possible workaround -since (to be brutally honest) your're not likely to get your iPhone working with CF and BlueSoliel, you can try using the PAN profile with BlueSoliel directly from the windows desktop, or you could try another BT stack that supports PAN profile. According to the IVT website (makers of BlueSoliel), they only support the iPhone2g....pretty lame, huh.

I have the USB tether option enabled, so as soon as I plug the iPhone in, it's immediately on the internet. I can enable the PAN through a shortcut on startup, but I guess I was hoping to keep it all bundled inside CF. I have the iPhone working through CF as far as calling and contacts go. I'm not too disappointed with that, other than sometimes on a boot it doesn't connect to the phone and I have to reboot. Not sure what that is all about.

The closest option I know of is MyWi ondemand but it only works with iPads. Perhaps you could contact their team and see if they can open up this feature. I too have been curious about an easier way to tether automagically.
