    A small request from me:
I'd like to see a separate volume setting for videos. Most of my videos/DVDs are at a significant lower volume than my mp3's which most of the time peak at 0 dB. DVD's have a much larger dynamic range. So when I quit a video the sound levelfrom the music player blows my ears off.

Either an independant volume slider for videos or a compressor plugin that "shrinks" the dynamic range and normalize it to 0 dB.

DaRacerz: CENTRAFUSE can play any video/audio format you have codecs installed for. After you have the codecs installed for whatever video/audio format, just edit "config.xml" in the system folder and add the file extension.

    I love this program!!

I'm just getting into this whole CarPC thing, and checked out Centrafuse but was a bit hesitant due to its beta status. But after trying out several other front-ends, I kept coming back to Centrafuse! This program is awesome! Once external apps are supported it will be everything I wanted! I'll be using this primarily on longer-distance trips with the wife and kids. So now for some feature requests:

    1) Would it be possible on the weather page to have some sort of quick-link to change the ZIP setting on the fly (and update the weather) such as just touching anywhere on the weather page, or perhaps store multiple locations that can be quickly accessed? Sure, I can change the settings page on the fly, but that's tedious.

    2) I don't want the music to auto-play at startup.

    3) Any way to toggle the "Play" button to a "Pause" button to be more intuitive about starting/stopping music? Also, no stop button?

    4) Definitely want External App launching support

    5) Any way to auto-play DVD's like you do for CD's? I'm trying to make the setup as simple as possible for my wife, who just wants it to play DVDs.

    Great work!

The behavior toggles between play/pause, I'm being nit-picky and would like the icon itself to toggle between the ">" and "||", to assist the non-computer users riding in the van.

ecoleman: I plan on allowing you to have multiple weather codes and some arrows that let you toggle from screen to screen.... I also plan on making the auto play music on startup an option.... External apps will be in the next version and I also plan on implementing auto play of DVD... So you should expect all the features you are looking for in a future release

note: I left the stop button off because it seemed useless to me... If you don't want to hear the music click pause. If you want the song to start over, hit previous. Works just like all car stereos... They don't have stop buttons... I also agree with showing the pause icon, but its currently a limitation of my skin, which only has off and down states for each page... So no where to store the pause icon...

David, I've noticed, I manually added OGG to the files, and with the codecs installed it plays them fine. But if you run settings again, it doesn't just load the file alter it and save it, it overwrites it, so it removes any custom changes you make in it.

Might it possible to seperate the file out into a seperate one for audio/video formats, then they can't be accidently overwritten.

Skraggy_uk: That is a bug... It is suppose to remember and keep any changes you make manually to the file. I will get this fixed..

Synchronization feature to automatically add music files on a usb flash drive into your music directory
Or through wifi but I personally prefer USB because I can never get a good wifi signal from my car

Edit: you know what....this can be done througha simple bat script
Just link the bat script as an external program in the frontend and then write the bat file to xcopy all files ending in an mp3 extension to a specified music directory
    Too easy
