dont really know if it's feasible, but i completely agree with Boris on that one! in fact, i plan on using your new external app buttons or whatever to start up firefox instead of using the Web button to start up IE

some files say unable to play. If centrafuse comes across one of these files..it should automatically skip to the next song after a few seconds.

MoFo: There is a thread below talking about why it says unable to play file and about skipping the message. I plan on just logging it in a file and skipping them...

    http://forums.fluxmedia.net/viewtopi...light=invalid:

roleary: Not sure what it would take to integrate firefox into the web, probably not that hard. Reason I chose IE, is because it makes my program have one less requirement that you have to pre-install... What are the features everyone likes about firefox? Maybe I can put them into my integrated web browser. All the integrated web browser shows is the web window itself, not any of the browser functionality. Don't think firefox will run much faster, if integrated. just let me know how you want the web browser to function and I can maybe improve it...

Note: i will look into how to integrate firefox, and if its possible to include the neccessary application files and redistribute them legally, then I will might consider using it...

I had looked at integrating firefox in a program I was doing and give the option of IE or Firefox but I couldnt find any good information about using firefox/gecko in a custom program. IE you just reference a DLL and your set.
while firefox would be nice it seems like more trouble than its worth unless you just launch it embedded and not actually integrate it.

sorry, repost from another thread. Missed the requests thread!

I have a hotkey request as well. I'd like to ask if you can possibly map the music previous/next track functions to the same hotkey as video. I noticed that they're not exactly the same in the application so I don't know how difficult it would be to implement. In addition, i'd like to request a hotkey for shuffle; that would be great.

Thanks again for everything. I'm looking forward to the new release.

probably a little late to the request party, but there is not really much to request.
But this one item i think should be included in every front end.

Internal volume ie, the way winamp and wmp handle the volume.

If you open the Volume Control in windows and also open winamp or WMP, and start moving the volume slider in winamp/WMP up and down you will see in the windows volume control that none of the sliders move, which is a good thing.
This way i can set the volume in my frontend to allways be LOWER than the volume from my GPS voices talking to me. And solves the whole "pause when gps is talking" issues. Im not sure how easy or hard it is to implement this but so far none of the frontends do at this time. Correct me if im wrong.

i think in WMP10 if i move the master volume up/down, i seee it moving in the windows volume control - not sure though- could be wrong
so then when the GPS talks what volume would it be using[wave, master, line]

And since where talking about late requests
Veetid anyplans for addding EQ controls, like having master, front, rear speakers controls as well as fade control, lines out/in,etc...

or how about somehow embedding/adding the windows volume control into CF...maybe this can run as a external app or something
for example - right now Im using a NT machine[working on a clients PC] and the volume controls points to "C:\WINNT\system32\sndvol32.exe"[in XP it should be c:\windows\system32\sndvol32.exe"] can we add this as a external APP and it should load embedded into CF -off course im taking about v.1.01 - would this work?

camsgs.... Should work fine... Once I allow external applications, you can embed anything you want, as long as you can find the window name... I plan on adding a bunch more to the CF mixer, all the code is in place for me to control the windows sound system... I can access anything the sndvolume program can, just has the basics right now....

WMP10 dosent move the sliders in volume control. As far as what volume the gps uses, i only know about Iguidance and it changes the wave but it does not move the slider in Volume Control. It would be better if Iguidance used internal volume but the likely hood of getting the programers from INAV to change this for me is very low

probably already been asked for but I can't find the post -

Maybe I am doing something wrong, but when I browse to my music directory, instead of listing albums, it lists every single MP3 that it can find.

I like media car and the rest on the basis if I browse to a folder (I have arranged in /music , each folder references an album) then when I play the first track within that folder, it will then list all tracks within that folder into the playlist, so I can play them by album. When you then click out again to the music directory, it lists all album folders, and from there I can select another.

I think that makes sense??? Basically I don't bother creating my own playlists, instead I like to listen by album, so when I click on the album folder it auto loads into the playlist until I take a step back and select another album....

as I say, it may have already been asked for or I am doing something entirely wrong, I don't know!!!

Keep up the good work, looking forward to next release.

    Luke
