a bit OT, but when do you expect the next release? Will there be changes that speed up the program? at the moment it is very slow in my CPC...

As said before, it is impossible to please everyone, the above was just my personal ideas (well stolen!) As above, I would prefer stuff that isnt shown on the dash, like throttle position, intake temp ect, and the idea of a guage, with a line graph showing the last few minutes throttle position would be fun!

If you could get all the guages and bar graphs (please!!) made up, and then we can choose which ones we want and scale them that would be awesome!

I have serious respect for what you have done already, it seems to be my dream front end and so anything that can make it better seems to be a good idea!

    Keep up the good work!

All these ideas are exactly what I was looking for.. thanks!...

Royn: The next release should be in a few weeks... There will be speed improvements... All the speed related issue are due to the graphics... Before I put the skin ontop of my application it was lightening fast...Currently a lot of my graphics are still rendered using .NET, which is all processor based and slow... I am trying to finish up making everything call Win32, which will hopefully speed it back up...

Yes Different ways to display the data would be nice, everyone has different purposes with the OBD... i would use mine for racing, so Speed, RPM, Boost level, Engine load and temperatures would be my preference.

Sendmessage request. I'd love to have this as a sendmessage param, so you could say "disable video" and then say "enable video" to enable it again. Would help with the cops greatly, and no wiring hassles

I use DeltaDash for data logging and On Screen Dash. http://www.ecutek.com/products/incardash/ It works great, any way you could implement this into your app?

No one expects you to have this data... Dont show it if you're at fault dummy!

1st of all, I wonder if the insurance company will knw that you have OBD and a Carputer...
2nd, will they think you log information?
3rd, will they go looking for it in your carpc while you deny to give them?!

I really dont think this is realistc.... dunno if they would be so big-brotherish but who knows... I'd like to have that in my car, make logging an option would be my ideal.
