Searching the web, again and again to get a list of manufacturer specific PIDs for the extra stuff.

Guys just messing arouind with photoshop and henry winx's posts...

something like this would look the b*llox

In would put towards paying towards a scantool version of something like the above (which is the only one of the two popular ones we can get in the UK) especially if it could be sorted in the next month or so!

    Cool Skinning is the key...

My initial desire for a carputer was to run the Ecutek delta-dash software instead of installing loads of additional gauges in my WRX. The beauty of delta-dash is the sheer number of different styles and dashes for different purposes you can build.

I hope Ecutek don't mind me posting some of the skins their users have produced to give you an idea...

    From this thread

    And from this thread

    or this

    or this

With some of the graphics talent on display around mp3car, a tool-kit to build displays like these (or indeed to embed delta-dash for the Scooby owners ) would be very very cool...

@Henry Winx, my plan, when time allows, was to use delta-dash to build the same Skyline displays as in your pictures..

@Stevieg, having seen your photoshop work, I might have to give up the WRX and buy a Skyline instead

And to the original authors of those dashes

I wouldn't. Get some phidgets with a voltage sensor and make yourself a program that will write that on the screen.

Just to have OBDII support in Centrafuse would be awsome but to have it look like the Skyline would wet my pants. It's perfectly laid out for easy viewing. I think there should be a screen for gauges and an alternative screen for graphs because guages as great as the are are useless if you try to fit 4 on to a 7" screen and have to squint to read the needle thus defeating the purpose. Heck, numerical values with a well laid out theme would be great too. The bar graphs shown on the third picture posted by stevieg is ideal to me. Perhaps a compromise divided down the center of half graphs/and one large gauge of choice on screen? That's my 2 cents for layout/graphics wise. Features: A/F, Throttle, Oil, Water, Battery, Speedo/Tach in KM/H Everything else, well... that's why we have standalone apps because everyone will want something different and you can't please eveyone. That being said, having features from Digimoto would be cool
