DRWeside: Ohh yeah... I do have keyboard support... There are a ton of configurable hotkeys just for this purpose, thanks for reminding me... I have been coding so long I am starting to forget what I have already done

I do still plan on adding IR support and possibly way to tab through the application and have it show a highlight as to what button you are on, but IMO using the hotkeys is the fastest / best way to interface with my application using a keyboard. Tabbing through things sucks.. If there is a function that you need that I don't have hotkey support for, just let me know and I will add it...

For IR support, maybe you could have sendmessages or XML. That way you would be able to use IR with other apps and windows and not be limited to Centrafuse

veetid, even though everyone is anxiously awaiting the new release, myself included, please dont feel like you should rush to release by x-mas.... we all know what happens when software projects are released before they're ready!

    thanks.... and merry x-mas!

Not going to make it by christmas, spending time with the family.... Should see it right after the first of the new year... Version 1.0.1 runs atleast 4x faster than 1.0.0, should have all the reported bugs fixed, and quite a few of the requests... My main focus on this release was the speed/optimization issue, which I pretty much have fixed up... Not too much longer

    merry x-mas everyone!

With Girder you can make any software work with keyboard or remote or anything else.
But I don't get why would you want to use interface that was designed for touchscreens without owning one.

Not really untill CF gets "tabbed browsing" support. And it is almost impossible to map all the buttons in CF to specific buttons on remote.
The other question: because of its features and usability. I do not see the better one.
