I would love to see the CHAR LCD support too, i have just gotten 2 x crystalfontz 634's (usb) ... GREAT displays, would really like the APP to support them...
Well, if David releases the code to pull the currently playing song then Centrafuse will have its own LCDC plugin And LCDC only supports matrix orbital LCDs, and 2 other non-MO ones. Look on the lcdc.cc downloads page to see the others that it supports. LCDC also supports VDF btw.Originally Posted by scott_fx
releasing source code for a program he is selling sounds like a long shot, right? Please excuse my ignorance but would lcdstudio (www.lcdstudio.com) do the same thing? It seems like it has a wider application as far as types of lcd/vfd's that are supported too.
The next release will include integrated LCD support for parallell LCD's... As for the XM radio support, it will allow you to either use the integrated Radio application or specify an external radio application to embed, which you could use to embed your XM app.. I plan on adding integrated XM support, but it won't make it in this release...
i don't think he meant source code
He didn't mean source code... He meant just a way for an external app to get current information from CENTRAFUSE. Such as song title, duration, elapsed time, etc.... That way you could use another program to grab the info you needed and send it out to an LCD or whatever... I plan on adding this, but not sure if it will make it in the next release...
see... i said excuse my ignorance :-D I can't wait for this new release now. Do you accept donations? not to hurry you along but just to say thanks for all your hard work?
Whats the Front End that everyone uses? I really like the look and feel of this one. I have some problems with the Frodoplayer, but I don't know which one everyone recommends or uses. Any suggestions?

Then there are all the skins to choose from...
