Final Design/Layout Ideas

Whats up David, Im just wondering if your "Music Mode" layout is finalized. I finally installed CF in my car last night, was using it all day today and was thinking that the music mode looks a little plan, maybe its just me!!

Anyways I put together some "bad" photoshops of my ideas, let me know what you guys think

I thought that the "music manager" screen could be used in the "music mode" screen. It can give us the album art display and maybe also change to a visulation [when the feature is added]. I also moved the 4 buttons that where on the "music mode" under the album art\vis display

It wont be a bad idea to click on the title bar to get full screen with some buttons

I also thought that maybe you can include a button dedicated to browse by album art......maybe look something like this.....

what do you guys think. I figure since CF is really the first "all in one" commercial product for a carPC, ill throw out some ideas

I dont mind paying for something that will have all the features i want as well as a great layout [not saying that it wasnt before]

i was playin around with the skin.xml, i got the playlist Width shorter but i cant add the picture tag to it, see part of my xml above, can this be done? Or is my picture tag in the wrong spot?

not possible with the current skin... I like the looks of these ideas though... Great ideas!... I will look into adding something similiar..

so in 1.2 release we should be able to use the "picture" XML tab anywhere in the skin and get results or will this be added in the 2.0 release?

I guess the first screenshot can be done with just skinning in future versions?correct?

As far as BBAA thats a different story!!!
