tj!2k4: Cool, thanx alot. If it isnt too hard to convert the resolutions, it would probaly benefit alot more people if you could a 848x400 and a 840x400 resolution. I have a Nvidia card and im currently working at getting the native resolution of 840x400. Again thx for the cool skin and the info.

*EDIT* Just remembered that CF runs at 848x400 only. Is this correct? If so then there would be no need for the 840x400 resolution as it wouldn't fit well in CF.

CENTRAFUSE will run at any resolution you build a skin for...

Also if you click the title bar and go fullscreen Frodo XM will be alot easier to use.

I was referring to the default skin as I am not a skinner by any means. The fullscreen xm skin was the one I was reffering to when I was talking about the "playlist" scroller on the bottom. If you change the resolution of frodoXMsatellite to the default resolution of the Centrafuses default skin then it chops off the lower half of the program where the list of radio stations are. I like the favorites buttons being the center of the window but sometimes on longer trips I prefer to browse the various stations. If there was an option to bring the list of stations to the center when needed that would be great. If it isnt to terribly hard, I would give it a shot myself. What do I need to do to accomplish this?

Actually.. I was just thinking on the way over to the gf's family's house for Easter:

What happens if you modify the "APP_HEIGHT" value in FrodoSatRadX.ini and make it something less than what it currently is? Does it still cut the bottom off?

"App Height" is how i changed the resolution to 848x480. Im going to play with some of the other config settings and see what happens. Ill post my results.

No luck. Changing the various [SIZE] settings which are located at the bottom of the frodosatellite config file does nothing but adjust where it is positioned in CF. I am guessing that you would have to change the physical background skins to readjust for the different resolutions. So I had another thought to make things easier. I really like this as my main XM browsing window...

.. that you made earlier. Is there a way to make this the main window and use the settings button (next to the close button) go the the xm window/skin that you have available now. Using that first skin/window that you made would allow those using 840x480 to set that resolution in. By doing this this would cause cropping along the bottom but wouldnt render this skin that much less effective because you would still be able to access the favorites button window from the second window. How possible is this?

I'll have to think about that, but don't think that I can alter the function of the settings button to accomodate a skin change. I'm fairly certain that that's a limitation of FSRX. I'll take another look at it when I get back home, either this evening or tomorrow.

Could you post a screenshot of how the window gets cut off, so I know exactly how the problem manifests itself?

    Thanks..

    Here ya go...

As you notice, at this resolution you cant effectively browse any of the stations except favortites. I usually like to browse all the stations for a good variety since it takes me an hour to get to and from work.

Okay, I had some time to take a look at this, and here's now far I got with it:

First thing I did was to change the APP_HEIGHT and APP_WIDTH in FrodoSatRadX.ini to 848 width and 417 height so that it would properly resize in full view.

Then I've been modifying various skin settings to such as font and button sizes to accomodate the skin size changes. I'm a little stuck at the moment trying to resize the table height and fonts for the "playlist" section on the bottom. Also, I'd like to completely get rid of the column heading line but haven't had any luck with that yet. Will have to look at it some more tomorrow.
