    Remote Control Cf

    Gents!

Here you go - used my knowledge of PhoneControl to make thisfor you. Not difficult but way way cool!!

Basically it uses your mobile phone keypad to enter commands (hotkeys) into CF e.g. Press 0 on keypad to go to main menu+ pause, play, skip, volume.

This keymap is for the sony ericsson but the Motorola one will come later and im not sure if NOKIA supports it or not.
    Also completely configurable!!

    Instructions:
    1. Download zip, extract the two files into: C:\program files\phonecontrol.net\keymaps.
    2.open up C:\program files\phonecontrol.net\PhoneCTRL.Config.xml and make the <UseKeyMap locked="False">KeyMaps\**********.KeyMap.xml</UseKeyMap>

    become: <UseKeyMap locked="False">KeyMaps\CF.KeyMap.xml</UseKeyMap>

you have now told Phonecontrol to load theCF keymap when PhoCo is initialised.

    3. Enable phone in CF settings and if you havent already point to your phonecontrol.net.EXE file when prompted.

Any probs give me a shout!!

    Nick

Actually should work fine with motorola - but NOT nokia as they couldnt be arsed implementing Bluetooth properly.

PS it helps if you have latest version of PhoCo and you have it working.... But i can also help with that!

dont think so. PhoCo uses keymapping to pickup keystrokes on your mobile, which, when connected, are recorded by phoCo and converted into something useful. ie. turning your GPS on, or muting your volume 30 feet from the car.....

No, this is a built in feature that uses KeyMap files (plain XML) to translate the mobile phone keystrokes into either PC keystrokes, mouse commands, send messages and other stuff.
