cdrskull: I actually am not using the DrumBuffer Interface at all currently. I just let the D3 object take care of it all and it worked for me, but I guess that is because I was using an English version of XP. I now see the DrumBuffer interface and will take a look at it....

It doesn't matter wich language version of Windows you're using.
What does matter is your "Standard and formats" setting in "Regional and Language Options".

If you're using period as "Decimal Symbol" then it's working just fine,
but if you're using comma it doesn't.

From what I could tell yesterday, the initial location seems fine and even the heading (map rotation) is working, but for some odd reason the position isn't updated. That's why I first thought you where using the drum buffer, because the output from the GPS reciever doesn't change depening on your settings in "Standard...." and if that data goes unchanged to the destinator dll then it might be something with updating the windows.

Could you compile the Destinator stuff as a standalone, then it would be fairly easy to see if that part works ?

    Are u sure ?

Comma , is default for the Netherlands so if that's working it wouldn't be any need to change to English (UK) with period . as default.

    What !?

Oh wait, that's right, you guys have "Windows XP - Coffe shop edition" with the catchy slogan "Windows XP on speed"

I checked three of my computers (two with fresh installs) and all three have
comma for Sweden, Netherlands, Germany and so on and period for "English".

Mine would act funky till I matched the gps speed in mapmonkey to the com port speed and I also enabled Sirf. Now everything works perfectly. Maybe you can up your com port speed setting to match the com port speed setting of your GPS mouse.
