I would like to know if there is a way to do this as well. I have tried this and had problems as well.
I get a "common language error" when I try to run centrafuse as shell. However, when I boot into explorer and run centrafuse, everything is fine and dandy.
I installed all 3 files on the veetid's page if that helps.
Anyone got a clue as to what is going on or if I need to specifically run certain files/services in conjuction with CF?

I have run a .NET app as a shell before, so it's not the .NET framework that's a problem.
Maybe there are dependancies on explorer? Or perhaps on the something else that explorer would load.
Sorry for digging up old posts but is there any progress on this?
It's on my list of things to look into...

it just saves a few precious seconds of boot time...! but i couldn't say i noticed any performance increase once it's running.
Just an FYI, it doesnt make a lick of difference if youre doing hibernation
